The husband’s appeal
was allowed and the matter remitted to a different judge.
When the husband and
wife separated a consent order was made providing for the payment of periodical
payments to the wife on a joint lives basis, until the wife’s remarriage or
further order. The husband had applied for a downward variation of the order.
